Position Summary:

A Customer Service Representative answers incoming calls from customers and responds to electronic correspondence (email).   Answers inquiries and questions, handles complaints, troubleshoots problems and ensures that the Customers experience with the Company is exceptional.  Project a professional company image through spoken and written interaction.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries both over the phone and through written communication
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints
  • Process orders, payments and credits
  • Provide customers with product information
  • Identify and escalate priority issues
  • Follow up with customers when necessary


  • High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications
  • Basic math skills
  • One year previous call center experience
  • Type 45 wpm
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
